Why Arkansas Sources Differ
Arkansas does not keep one public county booking-photo database. Each sheriff or jail sets its own roster and feed practices, so one county may show a searchable photo while another requires a direct records request. The Department of Corrections serves a different purpose: its Division of Correction search covers state-prison profiles, not ordinary county bookings. Court records then show how a case moved after arrest.
This site is the statewide entry point to those distinct sources. It explains the record layers, points to each county through the directory, and links to official state services. It is privately operated and has no tie to a sheriff, jail, court, or corrections office. No booking images are collected or displayed here.
Arkansas Record Resources
The pages organize state and county record paths by the question a reader needs answered:
- The Arkansas booking and mugshot search hub explains county rosters, arrest feeds, record requests, court outcomes, and the custody question behind each lookup.
- The County Directory links to local pages for all 75 Arkansas counties.
- Statewide pages explain Arkansas mugshot law, old-record research, wanted and absconder sources, and notable case records.
- The ADC offender-search page covers state-prison profiles and explains how those differ from county booking photos.
Limits of This Reference
Arkansas Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government agency and not affiliated with any sheriff, county jail, court, or corrections department. The site cannot:
- confirm current custody or release status, or release or transfer anyone;
- post bond, arrange a jail visit, or send funds for a person in custody;
- give legal advice or decide whether a record is sealed or eligible for relief;
- guarantee that an agency address, fee, or online system has not changed.
Only the custodian can confirm a record’s current contents. This site cannot authenticate a particular booking entry, photograph, or custody status.
Search Partners
Some search boxes are supplied by outside providers, which set their own prices, terms, and results. If a visitor follows one of those tools to a paid service, this site may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the reference pages available at no charge, but it does not give the site control over a partner’s search or billing.
